Farmers blockade jam shows the sporadic effect, no public support found, people in Punjab and Haryana suffer.

The nationwide pleas of  Farmers blockade jam from 12 noon to 3 am on Saturday had a partial effect in protest against agrarian reform laws. In Punjab and Haryana, it caused problems for the people.

In Rajasthan, Congress MLAs and leaders got themselves blocked on the road and jammed. In other parts of the country, it did not get public support.

The capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand were kept out of Chakka Jam, but strict precautions were made in the national capital.

Ready to talk to the government.

Meanwhile, Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of Bhakiyu has said that we are ready to hold talks with the government. He said that the government should understand, we are ready to negotiate.

However, the talks will not be under any pressure. All three agricultural laws should be returned and a law should be made for the minimum support price, only then will the house come back.

Otherwise, the protest will continue till October 2.

Delhi Metro services were disrupted.

Taking a lesson from the violence and violence in the tractor parade on Republic Day, Delhi Police was very cautious. Security was made on the impregnable at the Red Fort.

10 stations of Delhi Metro remained closed for five and a half hours

10 stations of three corridors of Delhi Metro were closed for about five and a half hours. Nine stations were of the Violet Line. On this line, all the stations from Khan Market to Lal Qila were closed.

Passengers were in a lot of trouble because of the movement. Many passengers expressed their displeasure by tweeting on the Twitter handle of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

However, all the stations were opened at 3:54 pm and the metro became completely normal.

Internet services suspended

Internet services at Singhu, Ghazipur, and Tikri Border were suspended on the orders of the Union Home Ministry.

The suspension of internet services was ordered from 11 am on January 29 in these picket sites and surrounding areas. It was later extended to two February.

It is known that Internet services were temporarily suspended in some parts of Delhi on January 26 after receiving information about violence during a tractor rally.

Flag of Bhindranwale seen in Jalandhar

Farmers’ organizations in Punjab blocked the national and state highways for over three hours at more than 70 places. Peace remained during this, but people had to face a lot of trouble.

In many places, people had to walk. A flag bearing the photograph of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was also seen in the cars during the dharna in Jalandhar.

Congress MLAs in several places reached the dharna and pamphlets were distributed against the BJP.

Strike at three hundred places in Haryana

In Haryana, protesters staged street protests at around 300 places. However, the effect of the jam was more in central Haryana.

There was a jam on the horoscope border since morning. The KMP-KGP Expressway was also blocked by the tractor-trolley and other vehicles. Only Congress leaders and workers were seen in Palwal.

Congressmen rally in Rajasthan

In Rajasthan, Congress MLAs and officials themselves took to the road. In many places even after four in the evening, the Congressmen sat on the highway.

Congressmen took out a tractor rally in Kota. Women also joined the Chakka Jam. Congress and CPI (M) leaders demonstrated in Shimla, Mandi, Una, Himachal. Blocked the traffic tunnel for a while at the Victory Tunnel in Shimla.

Minor impact in other states

Demonstrations were held in two places in Jammu, while some farmer organizations in Hiranagar in Kathua district demonstrated along the Jammu-Pathankot highway.

Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka showed very minor effects. A number of farmer organizations and the Congress protested in Mumbai.

In Karad, 40 protesters, including the wife of senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan, were detained.
