These players will not be able to play in the first two matches of the Test series starting from the Lords of London on 2 June.

The mail stated that only England players whose teams do not reach the knockout will be allowed to go out.

In the mail issued by IPL, which is held by Cricinfo, it has been said that the England and Wales Cricket Board will select the team for the first Test match against New Zealand by looking at the IPL.

The Mail stated, “ECB selectors wish to select a player whose franchise has not made it to the tournament knockout or does not feature in the opening XI for the first Test match against New Zealand.

The player-related franchise will be requested to make the player available early so that they can participate in the Test matches. ” BCCI has also not released the IPL schedule.
