Let me tell you, ED has sent this summons in connection with a case filed under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) for allegedly making undisclosed assets abroad. In 2016 also, the ED interrogated Raninder in this case.

He was questioned about allegedly transferring funds to Swiss accounts, forming a trust, and setting up some subsidiaries in the British Virgin Islands.

The Income Tax Department was the first to investigate the alleged cases of making property abroad. A case was registered in Ludhiana in this case. Right now this matter is in court. Raninder Singh denied any wrongdoing in it.

Sources say that the re-statement of Raninder Singh may be recorded. In 2016, Raninder attended the ED office, but did not hand over the documents to ED.

After this, the ED had sought documents from the Income Tax Department regarding foreign bank accounts and properties created in India and abroad, but the documents were not found from there either.

Harish Rawat tweeted that no one can suppress the voice of Captain Amarinder Singh. Captain Amarinder Singh is the voice of Punjab, is the voice of farmers across the country, just look at the timing of ED summons.
