ED attaches assets worth Rs 2.6 crore of JKPCC DGM Suresh Rekhi, Gandotra.

Enforcement Directorate has attached properties of Suresh Kumar Rekhi, his wife Kumud Rekhi, and Satish Kumar Gandotra, who was DGM in Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC) Ltd.

The government had terminated the services of DGM Suresh Kumar Rekhi in August last year after a case of disproportionate assets being created came to the fore.

According to the information received from the ED, the immovable properties of the above three include a farmhouse in Chauhan Enclave near MK Farm in village Taror in the Saroor area.

The farmhouse has been constructed by Rekhi in eight Kanal 10 marla land while two Kanal land of Gandotra, also included in the same farmhouse.

Two Kanal and three marla land Patwar is also in Halka Smallpur. This land is in the name of Kumud Rekhi, wife of Suresh Kumar Rekhi. This eight Kanal 13 marla land is separated from the farmhouse.

The ED said that since the property is in the name of Suresh’s wife, it will also be treated as part of the proceeds of the crime.

ED attaches assets worth Rs 2.6 crore: Apart from this, the ED has also attached one Kanal and two marlas of land in Channi Himmat Jammu in the name of Kumud Rekhi.

So far, in the investigation conducted by ED, it has been found that flat unit number PVC0091104, JP Greens located in Wish Town located in Sector 128, Noida, is also booked in the name of Kumud Rekhi.

He was also taken into custody by the ED. The ED said that the two Kanal land of Satish Kumar Gandotra, which we have taken in our possession, was also part of the farmhouse.

This land was allotted with effect from 22.10.2013 along with Suresh Kumar Rekhi and Kumud Rekhi.

The ED said that for this reason, we are also considering this land as part of the proceeds of the crime, that is why it has also been attached.

While assessing the attached properties, the ED said that the value of the farmhouse at Saroor, Rekhi, two kanal three marla land, and two Kanal land of Gandotra was Rs 1.57 crore.

The value of the land located in Bhalla Enclave Channi Himmat was Rs 44 lakh.

The value of the flat located in Noida has been fixed at Rs 59.15 lakh. In all, we have attached Rekhi’s assets worth around Rs 2.6 crore.
