Dominic Raab, Britain’s Foreign Secretary will meet the Chief Minister of Karnataka today

Britain’s Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab is on a four-day visit to India. Raab reached India on Monday. Today is the last day of his four-day visit.

Today i.e. on December 17, he is the Chief Minister of Karnataka B.R. s. Will meet Yeddyurappa. According to media reports, India and Britain have had strategic partners since 2004.

This has been regularly marked by high-level exchanges and increased cooperation in diverse fields.

Had met the foreign minister earlier

On Tuesday, the Secretary of the UK met India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar for his scheduled event.

During this time, pictures of the two leaders together were also revealed. Delegation level talks were held by Jaishankar and Raab.

After the meeting, Foreign Minister S. Jayashankar said, ‘We had a discussion today to strengthen our relations.

Today we discussed five broad themes, which are people connecting, trade and prosperity, defense and security, climate change and health.

Along with this, Rab held official meetings with Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Prakash Javadekar and Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Ninshak.

The Ministry’s side said that Rab’s visit would pave the way for further strengthening partnerships in the fields of trade, defense, climate, migration.

India-UK to form joint task force for mutual recognition of educational qualifications

India and Britain have decided to form a joint task force for mutual recognition of educational qualifications.

The task force will include designated higher education organizations from both countries.

The decision was taken at a meeting of Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and UK Foreign Minister Dominic Raab on Wednesday.

Nishank said that the agreement to work towards mutual recognition of educational qualifications is compatible with PM Modi’s vision.

Which is creating a globally mobile workforce and internationalization of Indian higher education proposed in the National Education Policy, 2020.

Nishank’s meeting with Raab was also attended by the Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre and senior officials of the Ministry of Education.
