Sisodia played a role in the policy review – ED.

Earlier on April 12, the Directorate General of Enforcement presented the case against Manish Sisodia in court in the money laundering case.

The ED said Manish Sisodia played a key role in reviewing and implementing the excise policy. The ED argued in court that the excise policy-drafting logic was completely wrong.

Sisodia’s judicial custody was increased by the court.

The special thing is that earlier in the CBI case, the special court had rejected the bail plea on March 31. Manish Sisodia is currently lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail under judicial custody.

On Monday, April 17, the court extended Sisodia’s judicial custody in the CBI case till April 27, while in the ED case, the court extended his custody till April 29, 2023.
