Delhi Capitals Team Will Leave For UAE On Saturday

Delhi Capitals team will leave for UAE on Saturday, no decision on captaincy yet: IPL 2021.

The Delhi Capitals (DC) team will leave for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday for the second leg of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Star batsman Shreyas Iyer is already in UAE with a fitness coach and some players will join the team after the conclusion of their international commitments.

Let us tell you that Iyer could not play in the first leg due to injury. Rishabh Pant was captaining the team in his absence.

In such a situation, no decision has been taken on who will captain both of them now. The franchise has given this information.

A Delhi Capitals official told the news agency, “Delhi Capitals will leave for UAE on Saturday morning for the IPL 2021.

The team will leave from Delhi with domestic players and officials. The domestic players are already under quarantine in the national capital and then they will be in UAE for a week.

After this, their camp will start.

“Shreyas Iyer is already in UAE with a fitness coach and the rest of the players from India, South Africa, and England will join the team after completing their international commitments,” the official said.

Who will be the captain between Pant or Iyer is still not decided. The team management has not taken any decision on this yet.

The teams of Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have reached UAE for IPL 2021. The 14th season of the tournament was postponed in May this year in view of the Corona pandemic.

By then 29 matches had been played. It will now resume with the match between Chennai and Mumbai in Dubai on 19 September.

A total of 13 matches will be held in Dubai, 10 in Sharjah, and 8 in Abu Dhabi. The final match will be held on October 15.

BCCI has increased the tension of IPL teams, for this, the deadline has been kept on August 20

The remaining matches of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 19.

But before the second phase of IPL 2021, the eight franchises of the tournament have found themselves in a bit of trouble.

Actually, the reason behind this is that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a deadline for eight teams to submit their final team.

The BCCI has set August 20 as the deadline for all the eight teams of IPL 2021 to submit their squad list.

Some franchises are waiting for players from Australia and England to be approved for their participation in the cash-rich T20 league to be held in September-October.

However, earlier CA and ECB had said that it is up to the players whether they want to participate in the IPL or not.
