Death toll from corona in-country crosses one lakh, more than 64 lakh infected patients, the recovery rate of patients also increased. India has joined three countries in the world where more than one lakh people have died due to corona infection.

More than 2.12 lakh people in America and 1.44 lakh people in Brazil have been killed by this epidemic. The first death from an epidemic in India occurred on 12 March. After that, the death toll reached one lakh in 203 days.

The relief is that despite much investigation, there is a continuous decrease in new cases and a large number of patients are recovering. However, there is a continuation of the deaths of more than a thousand patients every day, with the highest number of deaths occurring in Maharashtra.

Death toll from epidemic crosses one lakh

According to data received from news agencies till 9 pm on Friday night, 1,049 patients have died across the country since late Thursday, including 424 in Maharashtra, 67 in Tamil Nadu, 84 in Uttar Pradesh and 20 in Kerala.

With this, the death toll from this global epidemic has reached 1,00,768. During this period, 79,042 new cases have been reported and the number of infected people has crossed 64.64 lakh. 75,699 patients have also been cured and the number of people recovering from Corona has exceeded 54.15 lakhs.

More than 53.22 lakh patients recover

However, according to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at eight o’clock in the morning, so far 99,773 people have died due to the epidemic while 63.93 lakh people have been infected. So far, more than 53.22 lakh patients have been cured. The active cases remain at 9.42 lakh.

11 lakh tests in one day

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10.97 lakh corona tests have been done on Thursday. A total of more than seven crore 67 lakh samples have been tested so far to detect infection.

India on top in terms of healthy patients

The Health Ministry said that the rate of recovery of patients is increasing continuously. In the case of patients who have beaten Corona, India remains number one in the world. So far, more than 54 lakh patients have been cured.

However, more than 47 lakh patients have recovered in the US and 42 lakh in Brazil. The last 1 million patients in India have recovered in just 12 days

New cases are falling continuously in Maharashtra

There are frequent new cases in Maharashtra. This shows that the state has crossed the peak of Corona. The state has received 15,591 new cases and the infected figure has crossed 14.16 lakh. There has also been a decrease in new cases in Uttar Pradesh.

With 3,946 new cases in the state, the number of infected has crossed 4.06 lakh. Needs new cases are increasing in Odisha. There have been 3,600 new cases in the state and the total cases have crossed 2.26 lakh.

Rapidly growing infection in Kerala

The first corona patient in the country was found in Kerala in late January this year. After that, there was a time when Kerala felt that Corona was under control. But now it seems that Corona in Kerala is going towards its peak. The state has received 9,258 new patients and the total number of infections has crossed 2.12 lakh.

Except for Kerala, epidemic havoc is decreasing in other states of South India. A total of more than 28 thousand have been infected so far with 5,595 new cases in Tamil Nadu with 6.08 lakh, Telangana with 2,009 new cases, 1.95 lakh and Puducherry with 514 new cases.
