Czech Republic made it to the quarter-finals of the Euro Cup 2020 by stunning the Netherlands.

Second-half goals from Tomas Hals and Patrick Schek helped Czech Republic reach the quarter-finals of the tournament by stunning the Netherlands, playing 10 players in the Euro Cup, 2-0 here.

Now in the quarter-finals, Czech Republic will face Denmark, who have made it to the quarter-finals by defeating the team of Wales.

The Czech Republic has become the third team to reach the quarter-finals of Euro Cup 2020.

The Netherlands was also among the contenders to reach the quarter-finals, but the Czech Republic shattered the Netherlands’ hopes.

Federico Chiesa and Matteo Pessina scored in extra time as Italy advanced to the quarter-finals of the Euro Cup after beating Austria 2-1 in a thrilling encounter here late Saturday.

More than 19 hours later, a goal was scored against a record-breaking Italy team, registering their record 12th consecutive win to seal a place in the Euro quarter-finals.

With this, the Italian team did not score a single goal in the last 11 matches. The Austrian side may have been out of the tournament, but they kept Italy away from scoring until 90 minutes of the match.

The score was tied 0–0 by the stipulated time and Italy had scored two goals in extra time, while Austria surprised them by scoring one.
