Zero Covid Policy: Will China make any changes in the zero-covid policy? Important signs are given by officials.

Chinese health officials on Saturday showed no sign of any easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

Earlier, speculation was rife that the government was considering a change to the ‘zero-COVID’ approach, which has stymied economic growth and disrupted daily life.

China will stick to the zero covid policy.

Officials told a news conference that they would stick to an “adherent” policy, which seeks to prevent cases from coming into the country and contain outbreaks when they do occur.

The announcement came as no surprise and does not rule out the possibility of discussions taking place behind closed doors, but there has been no official confirmation.
