At the same time, 3,754 infected people died during this period. After this, the total number of infected due to epidemics in the country has increased to 2,26,62,575 and the total number of deaths is 2,46,116.

According to the ministry, at present, the total number of active cases in the country is 37,45,237 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,86,71,222.

Under the vaccination campaign launched in the country to prevent infection, the total vaccination figure in the country has increased to 17,01,76,603.

Coronavirus Cases in India: According to information received by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR),

The total of 30,37,50,077 sample tests have been done for the coronavirus in the country till Sunday, out of which 14,74,606 samples were tested only yesterday.

On the first day on the 1st of this month, more than 4 lakh infected were identified in a 24-hour period. On that day, 4,01,993 new cases of COVID-19 were registered and 3,523 people died.

Earlier on 21 April, the infection had crossed the 3 lakh mark, that is, 1 lakh cases had increased in just ten days.

The number of Covid-19 patients in the country crossed 20 lakh on August 7 last year. At the same time, the number of Covid-19 patients crossed 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September, and 50 lakh on 16 September.

After this, cases of Covid-19 on September 28 are 60 lakhs, 70 lakhs on 11 October, 80 lakhs on 29 October, 90 lakhs on 20 November, 1 crore on 19 December, and more than 1.5 crore cases of Covid-19 on 19 April.
