Coach Moody Is Happy With Washington’s Batting

Coach Moody is happy with Washington’s batting, may get big responsibility in the coming matches: IPL 2022.

Sunrisers Hyderabad may have lost their first match against Rajasthan but this defeat has brought out a few things for the team.

In this match, Washington Sundar showed his batting skills by playing a fast-paced inning of 40 runs in 14 balls. He hit 5 fours and 2 sixes in this innings.

His innings came when the opening batsmen were seen struggling in front of the Rajasthan bowlers.

Now the head coach of the team, Tom Moody, believes that Sundar can make a significant contribution to the team in the days to come.

In a post-match press conference, the coach said, “We see Sundar as a great all-rounder so were excited to add him to the team in the mega auction.”

“We expect him to play a vital role with the ball and bat as time goes on.” Looking at the balance of the team, he has batted at number 8 but that is not permanent for him.

He looked annoyed about his bowlers doing too many no balls. He said, “It is not acceptable in this format, for this you have to pay the price and we paid the price.

It was not an easy new ball wicket but we could not take advantage of it. Can’t give life to a batsman like Butler. First. Our team paid the price for no balls and missing catches in five overs.

Let us tell you that in front of the Rajasthan bowlers, the Hyderabad batsmen were completely helpless. The team had lost 3 of its top batsmen on the score of 9 runs.

After that, the team could not make a comeback and could score only 149 runs. Rajasthan’s next match will be against Mumbai Indians on April 2. Mumbai also lost its first match to Delhi.

This may be Kolkata’s playing XI against RCB, Venkatesh’s batting will be monitored

When Kolkata Knight Riders take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at the DY Patil Stadium, the team will have the responsibility to continue their winning streak.

However, in the opening match, Kolkata’s bowlers showed their strength and Chennai’s team could hardly make a score of 131 runs, which took 19 overs for Kolkata’s team to achieve.

In such a situation, the team did not get enough time to test its batsmen.

The good thing for KKR was that Ajinkya Rahane gave the team a quick start. Captain Iyer remained unbeaten and led the team to victory.
