CM Channi addressed a public meeting in Pathankot. He said – now the action is being taken on big smugglers who spread drugs, today Majithia kept hiding again.

Targeting the drug mafia, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi said that action has now been started against those who spread drugs in Punjab.

Taking the name of former minister and Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia, he said that he is roaming in hiding after the registration of the case.

The Chief Minister was addressing a public meeting in Pathankot on Friday in support of MLA Amit Vij.

He challenged the Aam Aadmi Party’s convener Arvind Kejriwal to show the guarantee that he is giving in Punjab first by implementing it in Delhi, where he is the Chief Minister.

He said that now that the government has lodged an FIR against Majithia, he has been hiding from the police. Majithia has applied for bail in court.

Now the court has to decide on that. However, the CM said that one thing is clear that there is no place for the drug mafia in Punjab.

Like the rich Amarinder and Badal families, the poor should also unite.

Channi once again targeted Captain Amarinder Singh and the Badal family as well. The CM said that the Maharaja and the Badal family are closely related to each other.

All of them have the same caste that all these people are big people, they are rich.

Channi told the people that just as the big and rich people get united, similarly we all poor and middle-class people should also unite.

CM Channi addressed a public meeting in Pathankot: Kapurthala incident, not sacrilege.

On the Kapurthala incident, the CM said that the investigation revealed that it was not an incident of sacrilege. Some people killed a person.

After the truth came out, the police arrested some of the accused by registering a case of murder in that case.

Modi government working for the benefit of Sikhs: Baijayant Panda

In the Sikh dialogue program organized by the BJP Sikh cell, Baijayant Jai Panda said that the Narendra Modi government is working for the benefit of the Sikhs.

This is the reason why Sikhs stand with the Prime Minister. At the time of independence, about 1.25 lakh Sikhs who came to Jammu and Kashmir did not get citizenship.

Modi government has given them citizenship. He said that Sikhs have played an important role in the development of India as well as other countries.

The government is working for their interest, but some people try to build a wall in society by spreading confusion.

After the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, Sikhs have got their rights there.

Many people were spreading confusion about the Citizenship Amendment Act, but due to this law, minorities suffering from atrocities in neighboring countries have been able to get citizenship in India.
