Chirag Paswan Meets JP Nadda, Looks At BJP’s Offer Of 27 + 3

Chirag Paswan meets JP Nadda, looks at BJP’s offer of 27 + 3 seats. Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) National Chairman Chirag Paswan met BJP National President JP Nadda (JP) in Delhi on Monday, 28 September, today. Since then, the fact that he has remained in the NDA is being confirmed.

Chirag has expressed satisfaction over the seats offered to him by the BJP. Not only this, Chirag, despite being an MP from Jamui, has agreed to give up the Jamui Legislative Assembly seat considering the BJP as an elder brother. In fact, BJP has offered international shooter Shreyasi Singh from Jamui to contest the election.

Chirag has also agreed to this. The BJP has offered them to choose another seat of their choice in return. The BJP has now given 27 seats in the NDA to the LJP, two to the Legislative Council, and one to the Rajya Sabha.

The entire list of 27 includes Jamui and Sikandra, the Lok Sabha constituency of LJP supremo Chirag Paswan. LJP will stake its claim to the Chakai seat in lieu of Jamui. Chirag Paswan may declare his stay in the NDA after the party’s parliamentary party meeting.

Will the credentials stop the BJP

LJP is likely to leave Jamui assembly seat for former Banka MP Putul Devi and internationally renowned Golden Girl Shreyasi Singh. BJP international shooter Shreyasi Singh has been offered to contest the assembly elections from Jamui.

It also has the consent of Jamui MP Chirag Paswan. They want Shreyasi to contest from Jamui assembly. According to sources, Chirag and Shreyasi have almost reached an agreement. Jamui wanted Chirag for LJP, the seat of its headquarters, being an MP.

After agreeing on the name of Shreyasi, he has extended the claim on the Chakai, leaving the claim from Jamui Assembly for the present. Here Chirag wants to hit two birds with one stone. For one, he will get a big face as Shreyasi in front of big stature like Narendra Singh.

Second, the Rajputs in Jamui will also be successful in maintaining the vote bank. However, Shreyasi Singh has not made any official announcement to contest from BJP. All they have said is wait for the announcement.

Faith expressed in PM Modi and BJP

BJP’s conversation with Chirag Paswan can be called positive. Now it seems that the BJP has taken the middle path. Let there be two main issues of Chirag’s displeasure. The first is about seat-sharing in the NDA. The second issue is his differences with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s government in Bihar.

This difference is also related to the sharing of seats in the assembly elections. Nitish Kumar’s party contested against LJP while being a part of the opposition grand alliance in the last assembly elections.

This time due to his being in the NDA, there are claims of both parties on many seats. In the 2015 assembly election, the LJP was given 42 seats, winning two. LJP wants more seats than the last election, in which JDU is a major obstacle.
