His remarks have come to the fore in the midst of a protracted border dispute in eastern Ladakh.

Both the countries have effectively managed and controlled the tension in the border area. Both countries are committed to enhancing bilateral relations.

He also said that in a complex world, China has turned crisis into opportunities.

The standoff continues since the violent clash in May last year.

It is noteworthy that due to the military standoff in eastern Ladakh, relations between the two countries have come to a standstill.

The standoff started on May 5 last year after a violent clash between the armies of India and China in the Pangong Lake area.

Due to this, both countries deployed a large number of soldiers and weapons on the border.

After several rounds of diplomatic and military talks, both countries have withdrawn their troops from the northern and southern areas of Gogra and Pangong lakes.

After nearly two months, in October this year, the 13th round of Corps Commander-level military talks between India and China was held on Sunday to end the tension on the LAC near eastern Ladakh.

This meeting lasted for about eight and a half hours, yet no concrete result could be reached.

Constructive suggestions were made by the Indian side to resolve the issues of disputed areas on which China did not agree.
