China Agrees On Work Honestly Towards The Complete Removal

China agrees to work honestly towards the complete removal of troops on LAC: MEA. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said that in the 18th meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on the India-China Border Affairs (WMCC), both the countries have confirmed this and they will continue to work with full honesty on LAC in the western region.

The last time a similar meeting was held on July 24, the two sides agreed to restore peace according to the bilateral agreement and protocol. Under this, both countries had agreed to remove the army from the Line of Actual Control to further improve bilateral relations and establish peace. During this time various aspects of the ongoing tension between the two sides on LAC were discussed. In the last meeting, peace restoration was agreed upon as per bilateral agreement and protocol.

Also agreed to continue relations through military and diplomatic channels

Speaking at the weekly virtual press talks, External Affairs Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said that India and China agrees to continue the relationship through military and diplomatic channels. At the 18th meeting of the WMCC last week, the two sides had a clear and in-depth discussion on the current situation in the India-China border areas.

The two sides will continue to work sincerely towards the complete disintegration of troops with the LAC in the Western Region, according to agreements reached between the two Foreign Ministers and two Special Representatives (SR) during their talks in July.

Restoration of peace in the border areas necessary for overall development of bilateral relations

The Foreign Ministry spokesman further said that in this meeting both sides have agreed to expeditiously resolve other issues as per existing agreements and protocols. Both sides also agreed that full restoration of peace in the border areas would be necessary for the overall development of bilateral relations.

The Foreign Ministry said that both sides have agreed to continue their involvement through diplomatic and military channels. The Spokesperson said that I will also tell you about the recent interview of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, in which he has mentioned various events of the past. In it, he said that all the boundary conditions were resolved through diplomacy.
