Centre extended the duration of the corona protocol till 30 September across the country, In view of the festive season, the central government is alert.

All the prevention measures taken regarding the corona pandemic (COVID-19) will continue till the end of next month.

The Center has cautioned about the lack of adherence to the Covid-19 protocol across the country and has emphasized that regular monitoring should continue in view of safety in areas where there are fewer cases of infection.

In this regard, new guidelines were issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Saturday.

In this, the states across the country have been asked to follow the necessary instructions related to the Covid protocol.

Keeping in view the upcoming festive season, the Center has cautioned the states and advised them to implement local restrictions to prevent the spread of corona infection.

Extending the COVID-19 guidelines issued across the country by a month, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla today said there is a shortfall in the cases of the pandemic at the national level, barring a few states.

He referred to the advisories issued on 25 April and 28 June and said, ‘It is important to identify the warning signs along with the increase in cases to prevent the spread of infection so that necessary steps can be taken to stop it. ‘

Strict adherence to covid protocol.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has asked all the states to remain vigilant during the coming festive season.

In the guidelines issued by the ministry, it has been said that care should be taken to avoid overcrowding during festivals and continue the focus on five policies – Test, Track, Treat, Vaccination, and Appropriate Behavior for covid.

Apart from this, continue testing and monitoring for safety in areas where the infection is less.

According to the instructions issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Saturday, now all the protocols related to Covid-19 will continue till 30 September.

According to the Union Health Ministry, in the record data this morning, it was told that a total of 46,759 new cases have been reported in the country in 24 hours, which is the highest in almost two months.

At the same time, Johns Hopkins University of America said that the global cases of Covid-19 have increased to 21.45 million and the death toll from this epidemic has increased to 44.8 million.

At the same time, a total of 5.12 billion people have been vaccinated so far.
