Central government serious about Corona vaccination, Amit Shah directed to stop the spread of the virus.

After the pace of vaccination of health workers and frontline workers, the central government is now preparing to give corona vaccine to 27 crore people above 50 years of age and suffering from serious diseases.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the vaccinations and further preparations made so far.

Shah expressed satisfaction over the availability of the vaccine and the readiness of the Co-Win platform to handle a large number of people’s immunization campaigns.

He called for immediate steps to stop the increasing proliferation of Corona.

According to official sources of the Home Ministry, along with Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, all-important persons related to corona vaccination were present in the meeting.

These include Prime Minister Principal Secretary PK Mishra, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba, and Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla.

NITI Aayog member and Chairman of the High-Level Committee on Vaccine, Dr. VK Paul gave a detailed presentation on the need and availability of vaccines in the country for the vaccination of 27 crore people.

At the same time, RS Sharma, head of the National Health Authority, told how the Co-Win platform is ready to monitor every vaccination activity on such a large scale.

The Co-Win platform not only monitors every stage of the vaccine from production to reaching the beneficiary, but also the sending of SMS for beneficiaries registration and vaccination and other doses.

RS Sharma stated that the Co-Win platform is ready for mass vaccination after initial difficulties in corona vaccination.

At the same time, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, told how with the cooperation of the states, there is a preparation to reach the beneficiaries according to the registration and voter list of the people.

He also informed about the steps being taken to increase the number of places to be vaccinated, so that more people can be vaccinated every day.

At the same time, Dr. Ranveer Guleria, Director of AIIMS, and Dr. Balram Bhargava, Director General of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), said that the number of vaccinators has increased after the initial hesitation is over.

It was also informed by the Ministry of Health that the first dose of vaccine has been given to 64.25 lakh health workers, which is more than 67 percent of the total registered health workers.

Out of these, 11.15 lakh health workers have also been given a second dose. At the same time, the first dose of vaccine has been given to 38.83 lakh frontline workers, which is more than 40 percent of the total frontline workers.

Central government serious about Corona vaccination: Cases active in the country increased to one and a half million

Fear of a second wave of corona infection in Maharashtra and increasing cases in Kerala is leading to a serious epidemic situation in the country.

More than 14 thousand new cases were reported on Monday for the second day in a row and the number of active cases also crossed 1.5 million.

However, during this period the daily death toll due to the epidemic remains below 100. Investigations from outside have been intensified at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

A week-long lockdown was implemented in Amravati, Maharashtra. According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of active cases has increased to 1,50,055, which is 1.36 percent of the total cases.

Of these 74 percent, active cases are in only two states Maharashtra and Kerala. Maharashtra alone has 52,956 active cases.

The situation has reached the verge of explosive in Amravati in Maharashtra as well as in some districts of Maharashtra including Nagpur, Pune, Nashik.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Monday, 14,199 new cases have been detected in the country during the last 24 hours and 83 people have died.

86.3 percent of new cases have been found in five states, including Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. There has also been an increase in new cases in Jammu and Kashmir.

The number of total infected has increased to more than one crore 10 lakh five thousand. Out of these, one crore of six lakh 99 thousand patients have fully recovered and 1,56,385 people have also died.

The recovery rate of patients is 97.22 and mortality is 1.42 percent.

6.20 lakh test on Sunday

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 6,20,216 samples were tested across the country on Sunday to detect corona infection.

Together, a total of 21 crores 15 lakh 51 thousand samples have been tested so far. The rate of infection in the country has reached 5.20 percent.
