Center Summoned Chief Secretary of Bengal to Delhi. Chief Secretary Alapan summoned to Delhi  the politics has heatedup after of CM Mamta kept a distance from PM Modi’s meeting.

Politics has heated up till Delhi after Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee did not attend a meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kolkata on Friday to assess the damage caused to Bengal by cyclone ‘YAAS’.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, including BJP leaders, launched a scathing attack on Mamta, accusing her of doing politics even in times of disaster.

Bengal Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay has been summoned by the Center to Delhi.

However, before this, Modi conducted an aerial survey of the storm affected areas of Bengal and Odisha. He also held a meeting in Odisha. Also announced a relief package for both states.

After her move, BJP became an attacker on her. However, Mamta did an aerial survey of the affected area with Modi.

Sources reveal that a letter was written to the Prime Minister’s Office on behalf of the Chief Minister’s Office asking why MLAs and MPs have been included in this meeting.

Meanwhile, Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has questioned Mamata not attending the meeting. He said that such an attitude harms the interests of the state and democracy.

The Chief Minister and his officials not attending the meeting is not in accordance with the constitutional rules.

At the same time, Suvedu Adhikari said that this is not the time to do politics but to work together to provide relief to the people.

Suvendu Adhikari and BJP MP from Bengal and Union Minister Devashree Chaudhary attended the meeting.

Alapan will have to reach Delhi on the morning of 31.

On the other hand, Bengal Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay has been summoned to Delhi by the Central Government.

According to the order issued by the central government, they will now be given new responsibilities at the center. They have to report before 10 am on May 31.

The central government requested the Bengal government to relieve the Chief Secretary soon.

The central government has requested the Bengal government to relive him as soon as possible. Significantly, his term as Chief Secretary was over, but only on May 24, the Mamata government extended his tenure by three months.

She is considered close to Mamta Banerjee. Alapan Bandyopadhyay is a 1987 batch IAS officer.

He has also been the collector of several districts including Howrah. He was appointed chief secretary of the state after Rajiv Sinha retired in September last year.
