Captain Amarinder refuses to meet Navjot Sidhu, rejects Rawat’s request, says- Apologize first: Punjab Congress Crisis.

The depth of the tussle between Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu over the post of Punjab Congress President became apparent.

It happened that during the conversation with the Captain, Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat requested the CM to meet Navjot Sidhu, but he flatly refused it.

In fact, Captain Amarinder is deeply hurt by Sidhu’s public rhetoric. The captain asked Rawat to publicly apologize for his derogatory remarks and only then he would meet him.

Captain Amarinder is hurt by Sidhu’s rhetoric, said that he wants an apology from Sidhu.

According to the information, Captain Amarinder Singh clearly told Harish Rawat that he will not meet Navjot Sidhu until he publicly apologizes for the derogatory words spoken against him.

On the other hand, today Navjot Sidhu was meeting Sunil Jakhar, Lal Singh, and other ministers and seeking their cooperation regarding their leadership.

Rawat told the Chief Minister that they should also end the matter by meeting Sidhu, but the CM stuck to the apology.

Not only this, but the Captain also told Rawat that the High Command had not handled the whole matter properly.

On the other hand, the political atmosphere in Chandigarh remained hot for the third day today regarding the presidency of Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Sidhu suddenly went to meet party chief Sunil Jakhar in his Panchkula residence early in the morning. Where the two talked about a quarter of an hour.

Sidhu sought his cooperation and said that whatever issues arise, they will take up together. Jakhar assured him that he was ready to extend all possible help to strengthen the party.

After that Sidhu reached Sector 39 to meet ministers and senior leaders.

He met Cooperation Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu, Revenue Minister Gurpreet Kangar, Mandi Board Chairman Lal Singh, and many leaders, MLAs, etc.

The party high command has not yet officially issued a letter to make Sidhu the head of the state.

But the way he met all the ministers, former chiefs, and senior leaders including Sunil Jakhar on Saturday, it has become clear that his name can be stamped at any time.

On the other hand, the Congress in-charge of Punjab affairs, Harish Rawat, also tried to persuade Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who became an obstacle in making Navjot Sidhu the head.

During this meeting, the Captain has raised some of his issues about which Rawat will now talk to Sonia Gandhi.

After meeting the Chief Minister, Rawat only said that Captain Sahib has said that he will abide by every decision of party chief Sonia Gandhi.

Along with Harish Rawat, Industries Minister Sundar Shyam Arora also visited the farmhouse of Captain.

Sundar Shyam Arora’s presence on the occasion assumes significance as the Chief Minister had written to Sonia Gandhi only yesterday that making Sidhu the head could anger the Hindu community.

Apart from this, MP Manish Tewari gave a separate tweet by giving details of the population of Hindus, Sikhs, and Dalits in Punjab.

Sidhu is meeting former presidents on Sonia’s instructions.

Before meeting Sunil Jakhar, Navjot Sidhu also met former Congress state president and Rajya Sabha member Shamsher Singh Dulo and Pratap Singh Bajwa on Friday night.

Sidhu’s son was also with him on this occasion. It is believed that Sidhu is meeting former leaders on the instructions of Sonia Gandhi.
