All India Congress Committee President Sonia Gandhi, while expanding the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee, has nominated 43 new office bearers in it.

The additional office-bearers nominated on Sunday include three vice-presidents, one general secretary (organization), 11 general secretaries, and 28 secretaries.

Till now, the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee had a total of 115 members including the President.

Now after the new office bearers were nominated, now the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee has a total of 158 members.

On the recommendation of All India Congress Committee President Sonia Gandhi, National General Secretary KC Venugopal has made three vice-presidents.

Upendra Singh, Maqsood Khan, and Jaswant Singh have been nominated as State Vice-Presidents. For the first time, Congress has created the post of General Secretary Organization in Uttar Pradesh.

This chair has been entrusted to Dinesh Kumar Singh. The party has created 11 general secretary posts. Mohinder Sood Valmiki, Subodh Srivastava.

Arshad Ali Guddu, Sharad Mishra, Jai Karan Navarma, Sarita Patel, Akhilesh Shukla, Mukund Tiwari, Raghvendra Pratap Singh, Sachin, and Ranjan Dubey have been made state general secretaries.
