BJP’s ‘Modipada’ campaign is gaining momentum in Bengal: Bengal Assembly Elections 2021.
In 2014, on the lines of its successful ‘Mission 272 Plus’ campaign, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a similar dedicated campaign ‘Modipada’ for campaigning in Bengal.
It is a volunteer-based program to reach youth and professionals. The campaign was launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to Bengal earlier this month.
The campaign is designed to reach youth who are politically aware but have no connection with any political party.
In this campaign, youth are being appealed to contact the common people and spread the message of the politics of development of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
BJP’s ‘Modipada’ campaign: Since the launch of ‘Modipada’, more than 15,000 youth and professionals have been associated with it in Kolkata.
The campaign will run parallel to the BJP’s political campaign for the upcoming assembly elections in Bengal, which is expected in April-May this year.
During the 2014 general elections, the BJP launched a volunteer-based campaign called ‘Mission 272 Plus’. In which more than 10 lakh people participated.
BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga said that people are supporting the ‘Modipada’ campaign. “Many people are joining the campaign voluntarily.” Another BJP leader said, ‘Modipada’ is a local volunteer campaign for Bengal.
Through this campaign, we are appealing to people, who are not politically affiliated with any party, to come forward and spread the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development politics.
Another BJP leader said that these young volunteers are not experienced politicians, but they are full of enthusiasm and creativity. Their creative ideas are being appropriately shaped by party leaders in the state.

A large number of volunteers from and around Kolkata and other urban areas of the state joined the campaign.
