BJP’s Gramin Sankalp Patra Released In Punjab

BJP’s Gramin Sankalp Patra released in Punjab, promising to give 6000 annually to landless farmers.

The BJP alliance has issued a resolution letter for the rural sector. It was released by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

Coalition partner Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa is also present on the occasion, while Punjab Lok Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh did not reach the occasion.

Earlier the BJP has issued the Sankalp Patra. Contains 11 resolutions. Now, this resolution letter is for rural areas. It also has 11 resolutions.

The BJP has promised that if their government comes, then the landless farmers in Punjab will also get the benefit of Rs 6000 annually under the Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi Yojana.

A fund of Rs 5000 crore will be created for MSP on crops other than wheat and paddy. Farmers will be made energy donors by connecting them with solar panels.

An annual budget of Rs 5000 crore will be approved for this. Agriculture loan will be waived off of all farmers having less than five acres of land.

One lakh acres of Shamlat land will be allotted to the landless farmers. Annual financial assistance of Rs.6000/- will also be provided to landless farmers.

Sustainable Green Revolution. Organic farming will be promoted, for which an annual increase of Rs 5000 crore will be made in the annual agriculture budget of the state.

Farmers will be given subsidies for installing tube wells and solar panels will be installed on canals.

For the development of agriculture, new agricultural universities will be opened and the Punjab Institute of Agricultural Experiments will be established.

Seed bulk will be created for the storage of traditional seeds used by farmers in different regions of Punjab.

Water to every field. Under the Pradhan Mantri Khetibari Irrigation Scheme, long pending irrigation schemes will be completed and new irrigation schemes will be started.

Strict steps will be taken to curb corruption in the Irrigation Department.

Dairy Farming Animal Husbandry. Chilling centers will be set up in clusters of 30 villages in each village for making curd, ghee, paneer, and lassi from milk. Veterinary hospitals will be opened in every tehsil.

New cold storage and warehouses will be set up at Mohali, Bathinda, Amritsar, Pathankot, and transportation will be arranged for this by air.
