BJP Released The List Of Candidates For UP, Maharashtra, Bihar

BJP released the list of candidates for UP, Maharashtra, and Bihar: Legislative Council elections.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released a list of candidates for the upcoming biennial elections to the state legislative councils of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Bihar.

BJP has announced 9 candidates including Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, Narendra Kashyap, and Jaswant Saini from Uttar Pradesh.

BJP made him a candidate in Uttar Pradesh.

BJP has fielded Keshav Prasad Maurya, Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, JPS Rathore, Narendra Kashyap, Jaswant Saini, Danish Azad Ansari, Banwarilal Dohre, and Mukesh Sharma from Uttar Pradesh.

At the same time, Praveen Yashwant Darekar from Maharashtra, Prof. Ram Shankar Shinde, Shrikant Bhartiya, Uma Girish Khapre, and Prasad Minesh Lad have been fielded.

While Hari Sahni and Anil Sharma have been made candidates from Bihar. Only one woman has been given a place on this list of BJP candidates.

The tenure of Keshav Prasad Maurya and Bhupendra Chaudhary is going to end.

Let us tell you, the tenure of Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Minister of State for Panchayati Bhupendra Chaudhary as MLC is going to end.

Apart from this, Cooperation Minister JPS Rathore, Backward Classes Welfare, and Divyangjan Empowerment Minister Narendra Kashyap.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Industrial Development Danish Azad Ansari and Ayush, and Food Safety and Drug Administration Minister Dayalu are not members of any House of the Legislature.

13 seats of the Legislative Council are falling vacant on July 6 this year.

Voting will be held on June 20.

Nominations for the Legislative Council elections will be held till June 9. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on June 10.

The date of withdrawal of nomination is June 13. Voting will be held on June 20 from 9 am to 4 pm.

Opportunity for old workers in Bihar.

Tell us about Bihar, BJP has given a chance to the old workers. Hari Sahni is from Darbhanga and Anil Sharma is from Jehanabad. It has been three decades for both of them to do politics in BJP.

During this time he worked in various positions in the organization. Sahni has been the Zilla Parishad President of Darbhanga.

He has also been made District President of Darbhanga twice. Apart from this, he has contested by Bahadurpur in 2015.

At present, BJP’s MLC from Darbhanga is Arjun Sahni, whose term is coming to an end.

MLAs choose MLC on 27 seats.

There is a total of 75 members in the Bihar Legislative Council. Out of these 27 seats are elected by the MLAs. Out of these 27 seats, 7 seats are falling vacant on July 21 this year.

In the Legislative Council, six members each are elected from graduate’s and teachers’ constituencies. In addition, 24 members are elected by the vote of the representatives of the local bodies.

Whereas 12 members having specialization in different fields are nominated by the Governor.
