BJP released the list of candidates for UP, Maharashtra, and Bihar: Legislative Council elections.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released a list of candidates for the upcoming biennial elections to the state legislative councils of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Bihar.
BJP has announced 9 candidates including Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, Narendra Kashyap, and Jaswant Saini from Uttar Pradesh.
BJP made him a candidate in Uttar Pradesh.
BJP has fielded Keshav Prasad Maurya, Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, JPS Rathore, Narendra Kashyap, Jaswant Saini, Danish Azad Ansari, Banwarilal Dohre, and Mukesh Sharma from Uttar Pradesh.
At the same time, Praveen Yashwant Darekar from Maharashtra, Prof. Ram Shankar Shinde, Shrikant Bhartiya, Uma Girish Khapre, and Prasad Minesh Lad have been fielded.
While Hari Sahni and Anil Sharma have been made candidates from Bihar. Only one woman has been given a place on this list of BJP candidates.
The tenure of Keshav Prasad Maurya and Bhupendra Chaudhary is going to end.

13 seats of the Legislative Council are falling vacant on July 6 this year.
Voting will be held on June 20.
Nominations for the Legislative Council elections will be held till June 9. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on June 10.
The date of withdrawal of nomination is June 13. Voting will be held on June 20 from 9 am to 4 pm.
