The BJP Parliamentary Party meeting was held at Dr. Ambedkar International Center in Delhi on Tuesday.
During this, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju told in the meeting why the country needs the Election Law (Amendment) Bill.
The bill was passed in Lok Sabha yesterday and will be introduced in Rajya Sabha today.

Addressing the meeting, JP Nadda said that the party would celebrate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as ‘Good Governance Day.
Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said, while addressing the meeting, our National President said that 25th December, the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be celebrated as Good Governance Day.
Earlier on December 7, a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party was held, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reprimanded the BJP members in the House for their absence in the House.
The PM had warned the members that ‘if there is no change, change will happen.
It was clear from this that even after getting repeated warnings, the members whose ear louse is not crawling are in the eyes of the central leadership.
Exercise of the uniform curriculum in all states, no fewer challenges in this path.
The purpose of education is not just to get employment by taking a degree, it is definitely one of its objectives.
Through education, we try to make someone ultimately a better citizen. All this process is done according to a certain course.
Such discussions have also been heard that in front of CBSE, state boards are neglected in many respects and the basis of competition is made on CBSE itself.
It has many positive aspects, but there are also many challenges before it, without which it will not be beneficial to implement this scheme.
India is a diverse country. Its diversity is not only geographical but also social, historical, and cultural. We should keep this in mind when we are deciding the syllabus.
The pride and pride of one region are not necessarily the same in another region.
As in the history of freedom struggle taught in the present time, the North-Eastern part of India and its contribution is relatively less in comparison to other regions.
If there is such a situation without one country and one curriculum, then it may get worse later.
If the states decide the syllabus accordingly, then they will at least be able to teach the glorious history of their state in detail and their history will not be neglected.
