BJP leader and MLA from Telangana’s Goshamahal seat T Raja Singh, who remains in the news for his statements, has been advised by the police to use bulletproof vehicles and government security given security. A police officer said on Thursday that Raja Singh was issued a notice in this regard by the Mangalhat police station on March 19 and he has also accepted it.

The officer said that he has been asked to use a bulletproof vehicle and use the five security personnel allotted to him so that unpleasant incidents can be avoided. He said that the BJP MLA has been found roaming in public places without security personnel many times.
He said that this is a regular alert as part of security measures. The notice issued to Raja Singh said that you are alerted that you are constantly receiving threatening calls and it has been observed that you are often leaving your house and office without any security personnel and going among the public, which shows negligence towards your life and safety.
What did MLA say?
Accepting the notice, Raja Singh said that his priority is to remain accessible to the people. He emphasized that his constituency has residential colonies, slums, and business establishments with narrow lanes, where it would be inconvenient to keep a bulletproof car.
The MLA said that it is convenient to travel freely on a two-wheeler and stay connected with the people. However, he objected to the police rejecting his request for a gun license.
