Biden Separated From Trump On Iran Case, Ready For Talks

Biden separated from Trump on Iran case, ready for talks on the nuclear deal.

The Biden administration said on Friday that it is ready to engage in negotiations with Iran and world powers to discuss the withdrawal of the 2015 nuclear deal.

The decision is a setback to former President Donald Trump, as he was under full pressure to keep the Islamic Republic out of the deal.

The administration took two steps at the United Nations with the aim of restoring the earlier policies scrapped by Trump in 2018. At the same time, it is being told that this decision will increase concern in Israel and Gulf Arab states.

In addition to indicating a willingness to talk with Iran, the administration also overturned Trump’s decision, in which all U.N. against Iran.

Sanctions were reinstated and the administration also lashed out at the stringent restrictions on domestic travel of Iranian diplomats stationed at the United Nations.

The State Department announced the move after discussions between Foreign Minister Antony Blinken and his British, French and German counterparts, and it also prepared Biden to attend his first major international events with world leaders.

The announcement came to light when Biden was scheduled to speak to leaders of a group of seven industrialized democracies a day later and address the annual Munich Security Conference later in the day.

Biden separated from Trump on Iran case: In both, Biden is expected to discuss his commitment to multilateral diplomacy and the subject of undoing losses.

In a statement, State Department spokesman Ned Price said the US would accept an invitation from the European Union to attend a meeting of participants.

The original nuclear deal has five members, including the U.N. Security Council and permanent members of Germany. Iran is also among them.

At the same time, Iran had set a deadline of 21 February on the nuclear treaty a few days ago.

It has said that until this day all concerned parties have not complied with the terms of the 2015 nuclear treaty, it will stop the inspection of the United Nations (UN) Nuclear Monitoring Committee next week.

Be aware, in 2018 former US President Donald Trump separated the US from the nuclear deal in 2015, accusing Iran of violating the agreement. After this, many restrictions were imposed on Iran.

The US alleged that Iran was violating the agreement and developing nuclear weapons. However, Iran denied it. After this, tensions between Iran and the US came to a peak.
