BCCI In India Has Announced Its Annual Contract

BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket) in India has announced its annual contract. BCCI issued a central contract, these players including Hardik Pandya, Pujara suffered losses.

The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India has announced its annual contract.

In the list released by the BCCI on Wednesday, captain Rohit Sharma in A+, Virat Kohli along fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah are present in the top grade.

Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, who was dropped from the Test team, have suffered. A total of 28 players have been selected by the BCCI for this year’s contract.

Based on the recommendation made by the All India Senior Selection Committee, the board has issued a list of retention to the players.

This contract of all players is from 1 October 2021 to September 2022. There has been no change in the A+ grade, while the number of 10 players in the B grade has been halved to 5.

The number in Grade B has been increased from 5 to 7 this year. At the same time, 12 players have been given a place in C grade instead of 10.

The names of spinner Kuldeep Yadav and fast bowler Navdeep Saini have been dropped from the contract issued by the BCCI.

Mohammad Siraj has got the reward for his better performance in the form of promotion from C grade to B.

Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya, and Ishant Sharma have been demoted from A grade to C grade.

While Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Mayank Agarwal, and Wriddhiman Saha have been demoted from B to C grade.

Grade A+:  Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah.

Grade A: R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Rishabh Pant.

Grade B: Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammad Siraj, Ishant Sharma.

Grade C:  Shikhar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar.

Players who are included in the A+ grade get Rs 7 crore annually as a salary. At the same time, players of A, B, and C grades are given Rs 5, 3, and 1 crore respectively as salary for a full year.
