According to Variety’s report, Netflix is ​​not satisfied with this project. Therefore, this 2-season series is now being re-evaluated.

The report quoted a source as saying that Baahubali – Before the Beginning has faced many challenges.

The last two years have been very difficult due to Covid, due to which production has been affected, as it is a large-scale series. Now it is being reevaluated to present this story in the best possible way.

The story of Bahubali Before the Beginning series is set in the pre-Bahubali period and is based on the life of Sivagami Devi, an adaptation of Anand Nileketan’s popular novel The Rise of Sivagami.

The novel depicts Sivagami’s journey from a rebellious girl to the courageous and learned Queen Sivagami.

This character has been shown to be very powerful in Bahubali films, which was played by Ramya Krishnan.

From the announcement of the series till now, there have been reports of a lot of changes in its production.

Netflix’s series ‘Bahubali – Before the Beginning’: Netflix had recommended a budget of $20 million for one season and it was directed by Deva Katta in Hyderabad.

However, Netflix was not happy with the final project and planned to add other directors. These included SS Rajamouli, the director of Bahubali films. Changes have also been made in the star cast.

Last year, there were reports of South actress Nayanthara also joining this project. However, the platform did not give any official information regarding this.

Earlier, there was also news of Vamika Gabbi joining in place of Mrinal Thakur.
