Virat Kohli scored 45 runs in the first innings of his 100th Test match and was bowled by Ambuldeniya. Hanuma Vihari played an innings of 58 runs and he was dismissed by Vishwa Fernando.
India’s 5th wicket fell in the form of Shreyas Iyer, who was dismissed for 27 runs by de Silva. Rishabh Pant played a crucial inning of 96 runs and missed out on his fifth Test century by just 4 runs.
Rishabh Pant’s innings ended with the delivery of Suranga Lakmal and he was bowled by Pant.
