Another RSS worker was murdered in Kerala; Entered the shop and was killed with a sword, BJP held SDPI responsible.
Two political murders were carried out in the Palakkad district of Kerala within 24 hours.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker SK Srinivasan (45) was publicly murdered with swords and knives by bike-borne miscreants after entering a shop in the Melamuri area of the district on Saturday.
Earlier on Friday, a worker of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) was murdered.
Stabbed with swords and knives.
In November last year too, another RSS worker Sanjeet was murdered in the same area. SDPI is accused of killing Sanjeet.
Police said six bike-borne miscreants mercilessly attacked Srinivasan, a former RSS functionary, with swords and knives.
Hearing his cries, when people came running, they saw a person sitting on a bike waiting for his companions, who were inside the shop. After this, the attackers fled on their bike.
BJP holds SDPI responsible.
The BJP has blamed the SDPI for the murder of Srinivasan. Party’s state general secretary C Krishnakumar said the police had failed to maintain law and order.
Earlier on Friday, 43-year-old SDPI worker, Subair was murdered. He was returning with his father on a bike after offering Namaz at the mosque when a car hit him. Both fell off the bike.
Alert issued to all district police chiefs.
Subair’s father said that four assailants who came in two cars killed his son. The attackers then fled in a car. A car was left there. A local SDPI leader has blamed the RSS-BJP for the attack.
After these killings, Director General of Police Anil Kant has asked all district police chiefs to be on alert. The local people closed the shops.

VD Satheesan, Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly, said, “Murders are taking place in the state and the police remains a mute spectator.
People are living in fear, as there is no security for their life and property.
All these killings are the result of communal appeasement being done by the Chief Minister in the name of social engineering, he said. The government has no power to oppose anyone.
