A female MP in Australia has made serious allegations of sexual harassment against her colleague.

Lydia Thorpe said on Thursday she was made lewd comments by some powerful men inside Parliament, groped her near the stairs, and touched her inappropriately.

Thorpe also accused a fellow senator on Wednesday of taking back the allegations he made. On the other hand, they are denying the allegations of sexual harassment made by Van Thorp.
On Thursday, Van said he was devastated by the sexual assault allegations made by Thorpe. Simultaneously, Van told the media persons that all the allegations made by Thorpe are false.
At the same time, David Van’s Liberal Party suspended him on Thursday following the allegations made by Thorpe.
According to the information, David Van has also taken the help of lawyers in this matter. MP Thorpe has claimed that many women have been victims of this type of sexual harassment.
The woman MP said that people followed me continuously. I was made many offers and touched inappropriately. The MP said that I am afraid to even go outside the Parliament.
She said that before going out, I used to open the door a little and used to come out only after the way was clear.
She further said that many times there was such a condition that I needed someone to accompany me to go out.
