According to preliminary information, the Maoists torched at least four vehicles engaged in road construction work and two operators are reported to be missing.

Production is set to start in the mine.

SP Mohit Garg further informed that the production is yet to start in this mine allotted to Jaiswal Neco Industries Limited (JNIL) and pre-mining groundwork is going on at the site.

On receiving information about the incident, security forces reached the spot and an encounter broke out between them and the rebels. More information is awaited.
