Pakistani Drones Bring Explosive Material To Punjab
Pakistani drones bring explosive material to Punjab; Big attack plan failed: Challenges to internal security.
The arrest of four suspected Khalistani operatives with weapons and explosives in Karnal, Haryana. It is believed that the arrested terrorists were in the process of a major attack.
Their connection is not only being told with a Khalistani terrorist taking refuge in Pakistan but it is also being underlined that the weapons found from them had come from across the border through drones.
This means that Pakistan is trying to spread terror and unrest in Jammu and Kashmir as well as in Punjab.
Pakistani drones bring explosive material: It is also clear from this that despite the change of power, there is no change in Pakistan’s devious policy towards India.
It cannot be ignored that a tunnel was also found in the Samba area of Jammu on the previous day. Such tunnels have already been found in the border areas adjacent to Pakistan.
It is suspected that the tunnel found in Samba may have been used to send arms and drugs across the border.
Whatever be the case, it is not hidden from anyone that for a long time in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir this work is being done through drones as well.
Similarly, the threat of infiltration of terrorists from across the border also remains.
It is true that in recent times the vigil has been increased along the border, but the way in which the consignment of arms and narcotics continues through drones is not a good sign.
This chain has to be broken, even if it requires renewed aggression towards Pakistan.
There is a doubt that without putting pressure on Pakistan and punishing it for what it did, it is going to desist from its antics. Merely keeping distance from Pakistan is not enough.
One should be more cautious than that. The message should be given to Pakistan time and again that an ally and supporter of terror cannot be trusted.
In view of the actions of Pakistan and the activities of anti-national elements in Punjab along with Jammu and Kashmir, there is also a need to make the internal security system more alert.
Along with this, there is also a need to increase coordination between intelligence and security agencies.
