ISRO Gaganyaan Project: Complete astronaut training for Gaganyaan, learn about India’s first manned mission.

All four astronauts from India, selected to go into space under the Gaganyaan mission, have completed one year of training in Russia.

An agreement was signed between the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Russian launch service provider Glavkosmos for the training of astronauts in June 2019.

Those taking the training include a group captain and three wing commanders of the Indian Air Force.

Training started on 10 February 2020.

After returning from Russia, all of them will undergo training from the training modules designed by ISRO. There will be three main parts of training in India.

There will be one module on the entire project, one module for crew members, and one module on flight hardware and software. After completion of training, these four astronauts will be sent to space via Gaganyaan.

Air Force officers have been trained to adapt to the conditions of space in Russia.

Earlier this month, Union Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that work is being done to send humans to space under ISRO’s Gaganyaan project.

10 thousand crores will be spent on the Gaganyaan project.

Significantly, on August 15, 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the Gaganyaan mission from the ramparts of the Red Fort. About 10 thousand crore rupees will be spent on this mission.

It was approved by the Union Cabinet last year. Let us tell you that the first astronaut to go to Space was Yuri Gagarin, who traveled to Space in 1961.

The country’s first astronaut Rakesh Sharma traveled to Space on 2 April 1984 in Russia’s Soyuz T-11. Valentina Tereshkova of Russia traveled to Space on 16 June 1963, the first woman to go into space.

Kalpana Chawla, the first Indian woman to go into space, got this opportunity in 1997.

ISRO Gaganyaan Project is very important for India.

ISRO Chief K.K. Sivan said that India will create history by sending humans to space in 2021. Regarding ISRO’s Gaganyaan mission, he said that the Gaganyaan mission is very important for India.

This will increase the science and technology capacity of the country. He had said that the Chandrayaan-2 mission has achieved 98 percent success.

As far as the technology proof front is concerned, almost complete success has been achieved in this.

India’s first manned mission to space.

Gaganyaan will be India’s first manned mission to space, which will be executed through indigenous rocket GSLV Mark-3. This is a very important project for India because its success will increase ISRO’s foray into space.

In December 2021, a team of three scientists will be sent to space under the Gaganyaan project. This team will return to Earth after spending at least seven days.

According to the Indian Air Force, the first phase of the selection of 10 pilots for this project has been completed.

Russia’s space agency will help.

The Indian Air Force and ISRO together selected the final three astronauts for this mission. These selected astronauts were sent to Russia for training.

ISRO had signed an agreement with Russia’s space agency Glavkosmos on July 2 this year for this work. These astronauts will carry out various types of microgravity tests in space.
