Star Wrestler Bajrang Punia Won The Gold Medal

Star wrestler Bajrang Punia won the gold medal, became the number one wrestler in the world.

Following the gold victory of Indian women’s wrestler Vinesh Phogat, men’s wrestling star Bajrang Punia captured the gold medal in the ongoing Rome Ranking Series at Matteo Pelican, Rome.

Tulga Tumur Ochir of Mongolia was beaten 2–2 by Bajrang Punia in the final of the 65 kg weight category freestyle event.

This is Bajrang Punia’s second consecutive gold medal in this event and he has now become the number one wrestler in the world.

It is worth noting that the last time in the Rome ranking series, Bajrang Poonia won the title by defeating Jordan Oliver of the USA.

Bajrang Poonia has achieved the number one rank as soon as he wins the final of the Rome rankings. Earlier, he was second in the world ranking list.

Poonia has achieved this ranking for the second time. Prior to this, he was also the number one wrestler in the world in the year 2018. He has again captured the top.

United World Wrestling has released the world ranking list of freestyle wrestling events, with Bajrang Punia at the top. Bajrang Poonia is playing in the competitive competition after one year due to  Corona.

The 27-year-old Poonia defeated Joseph Christopher of the US 6-3 in the semi-finals of the Rome Ranking Series to advance to the gold medal match. He defeated Selim Kozan of Turkey 7–0 in the quarter-finals.

Shooter Gauri Sheoran becomes the global ambassador of the International Women’s Club.

International shooter Gauri Sheoran has been appointed as the Global Ambassador of the International Women’s Club.

Former President of South America Ecuador Rosalia Ertiga has assigned this responsibility to Gauri Shoran just before International Women’s Day. She has won around 27 medals in international-level matches so far.

Chaudhary Bahadur Singh, the grandfather of Gauri Sheoran, who lives in the city, has also been the former Education Minister of Haryana.

Gauri’s father IAS Jagdeep Singh Sheoran is currently working as Secretary in the Finance Department of Haryana.

Gauri Sheoran’s father IAS Jagdeep Sheoran said that everyone is proud of the daughter’s splendid achievement. This achievement becomes even more important on International Women’s Day.

He said that the IWC is headquartered in Paris, France. The women’s club also receives support from Switzerland, Canada, and England.
