The Mail stated, “ECB selectors wish to select a player whose franchise has not made it to the tournament knockout or does not feature in the opening XI for the first Test match against New Zealand.
The player-related franchise will be requested to make the player available early so that they can participate in the Test matches. ” BCCI has also not released the IPL schedule.
