Delhi Police raids in Punjab in search of Deep Sidhu. Delhi Police is yet to arrest Deep Sidhu, the Punjabi actor who led the miscreants at the Red Fort in Delhi on 26 January on Republic Day.
For the last 4 days, four teams of Delhi Police are conducting raids in search of Deep Sidhu in different areas of Punjab, but they didn’t get any success. Police say Deep has turned off his mobile and gone underground.
On the other hand, on Saturday evening, he got active on Facebook and said that he is engaged in gathering some evidence. After this, he will surrender himself to the Delhi Police.
It is being told that Deep had escaped from the spot in the evening after the disturbance at the Red Fort. Since then, his mobile is coming off, but he is constantly active on the Facebook page.
He also threatened the peasant leaders after some farmer’s leaders protested. In the threat, he said that if he came to open their layers, then the peasant leaders would have less land to flee.
He had said in the cleanliness that he did not harm the national flag but showed power to the government by hoisting his flag.
On the other hand, various agencies are constantly visiting the Red Fort to identify the vandalists and the nuisances in the Red Fort.
It is being told that many vehicle owners and miscreants have been identified. The forensic team from Gujarat also visited many places including Red Fort, AITO on Sunday.
According to a senior Crime Branch official, on Saturday, nine farmer leaders, including Rakesh Tikait, who were again served a notice to attend the inquiry, have been asked to appear in different offices of the crime branch on Monday.
More than 70 tractor owners have also been served notices for their involvement in the inquiry. He will also be questioned this week.
The process of identifying the miscreants and their vehicles continues. As the miscreants are being identified, the Crime Branch and the local police station are sending them notices for their involvement in the interrogation.
Till now Delhi Police has registered 38 FIRs in the nuisance case and arrested 84 miscreants.
