Corona infection: 8600 cases found in the last 24 hours, less than 100 people die in one day after nine months.

The cases of corona infection in the country continue to decline. According to the data released by the Health Ministry at 8 am today, only 8,635 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

During this period, 13,423 patients recovered and 94 people died. According to the ministry, six lakh 59 thousand 422 sample tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

After eight months, so few cases have been reported in one day. At the same time, less than 100 people have died in one day after nine months. On September 10, 2020, the highest number of cases was 95,735 in one day.

So far, a total of one crore seven lakh 66 thousand 245 cases of corona have been reported in the country. According to the Health Ministry data, there is a steady decline in active cases.

The active cases in the country are one lakh 63 thousand 353, which is 1.52 percent of the total cases. So far, one lakh 54 thousand 486 patients have died, which is 1.43 percent of the total cases.

So far, one crore four lakh 48 thousand 406 patients have been cured of infection, which is 97.05 percent of the total cases. So far, 19 crores 77 lakh 52 thousand 057 sample tests have been done.

In the last 24 hours, 27 people have died in Maharashtra, 17 in Kerala, seven in Tamil Nadu, six in West Bengal, five in Chhattisgarh, four in Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, and three each in Delhi, Karnataka, and Puducherry.

Vaccination of 39 lakh people so far

Vaccination against corona continues in the country. It started on 16 January. Two vaccines were approved for emergency use early last month.
