1962 The War in the Hills: ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ fame Don Lee directed action sequences.

Streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar on February 26, 1962 – The War in the Hills features action sequences directed by well-known Hollywood action choreographer Don Lee.

Don has been known for action on films like Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Trek. Director Mahesh Manjrekar, influenced by Don’s style of working, shared his experience working with him.

Regarding the association with Don Lee, director Mahesh Manjrekar said – Don is a brilliant person. As soon as he started work, he had friendly relations.

Before shooting any scene, Don wrote a story and prepared the scenes well in advance, which made the work ahead.

Don is adept at his work, but still welcomes the views of others. He was working in a place which was not known much.

Recalling his time with Don, Mahesh said that on the fifth day of the shoot, he started eating spicy food. He often asked me – what have you made.

Mahesh further said that we had done suits at different locations in Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani as well. We came to know all the places of food there. Don made 2-3 hotel finals for himself and often went there to eat.

Don loved fish very much. He also wanted to take something to his house so that his mother could get her tested. Mahesh said that friendly relations with Don had made the task a lot easier.

1962 – The War in the Hills is a series of 10 episodes inspired by the war between India and China. The show depicts the story of the Indian soldiers’ passion and passion.

In spite of the lack of facilities, how he had rescued sixes of the Chinese army many times, it will be seen in the series. The series is written by Charudatta Acharya.

The series will feature many of the best actors including Abhay Deol, Anoop Soni, Akash Thosar, Sumit Vyas, Rohan Gandotra.

Mayang Chang, Mahi Gill, Rochelle Rao, Hemal Ingale. Parts of the series have also been shot in Ladakh and remote villages.
