Yamuna water reached the Supreme Court, now these routes have also been closed.

Water is continuously increasing in Yamuna river. The flood water is now entering new areas as well. The situation is that Yamuna water has now reached close to the Supreme Court complex.

In such a situation, the necessary routes are being closed by the administration.

The water level at Yamuna Bridge in Old Delhi was recorded as 208.46 meters at 6am. Due to the high water level of Yamuna, Delhi Rajghat was also submerged.

Yamuna water went to ITO Red Light, Jamuna Bazar, near Marghat Mandir, Yamuna Bazar Ghat area, near IP College, Bhairon Marg and Mathura.

Due to flowing flood water, there has been a lot of jam on Vikas Marg towards ITO.

Delhi Traffic Police said in a tweet that “commuters are advised to avoid this route and take NH 24 via Akshardham-Nizamuddin-ITO”.

On the other hand, Delhi government minister Atishi said that the water level is not rising.

It was stable from 1 pm to 7 pm on Thursday and now it is decreasing very slowly. It will take more time for the water to recede.

Trouble below and now rain from above, clouds started raining in NCR including Delhi-Noida.

After lakhs of cusecs of water released from Hathni Kund Barrage in Haryana into the Yamuna River where the capital Delhi is already troubled by the problem of floods.

In many districts including North East, North, South, West and Central etc. of Delhi, the normal life is badly affected due to the flood water entering the areas since two days.

In such a situation, a holiday has been declared till July 16 in schools, colleges, universities and offices. In such a situation, now the sky disaster has also come.

It has been raining since morning in the sky. It is raining in all areas of Delhi. In such a situation, flood relief and rescue work will also be affected.

The Meteorological Department had also issued an alert a while ago, saying that during the next 2 hours in some places of Delhi (Bawana, Burari, Rohini, Model Town, Pitampura, India Gate, Lodi Road, Nehru Stadium, Lajpat Nagar, Kalkaji), NCR (Noida, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh), Barwala, Sonepat, Kharkhoda (Haryana) will receive light to moderate intensity rains.
