Violence in Manipur continues for the past several days. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called an all-party meeting in the national capital on June 24.

The meeting will be held on Saturday at 3 pm.

According to Home Ministry spokesperson, Home Minister Amit Shah called an all-party meeting in New Delhi on June 24 to discuss the situation in Manipur.

Former Congress president and party MP Sonia Gandhi has appealed for the restoration of peace in Manipur.

Expressing grief over the violence in Manipur, he said that it had deeply hurt the conscience of the nation. she hoped that soon the people of Manipur would overcome this tragedy.

In the video message, he said that dear brothers and sisters of Manipur, for the last 50 days, Manipur is witnessing a huge human tragedy.

This violence ruined the lives of thousands of people in your state. Manipur’s history has the power and potential to embrace people of different castes, religions, and backgrounds.

How long will the internet be closed?

In view of the prevailing situation in the state, the internet ban has been extended till June 25. Data services were banned in view of the ongoing unrest in the state.

What is the whole matter?

Surprisingly, more than 100 people were killed in clashes between the Meitei and Cookie communities in Manipur a month ago.

The clashes first occurred on May 3 after a “tribal solidarity march” was organized in the highlands to protest the Meitei community’s demand for designated tribal (ST) status.

Mangaluru News: Congress worker assaulted in Dakshina Kannada’s Puttur, police register case.

A worker of the Congress Party is said to have been attacked by a BJP worker in Narimogaru village, Puttur Taluk, Dakshina Kannada district.

The Dakshina Kannada District Police released this information. Sources say, Praveen Acharya, who was injured in the attack, left the BJP a few months ago and joined Congress.

The defendant was identified as Praveen from the same locality.

Sources said the two had previously worked together for the BJP. Praveen argued with Acharya on Tuesday and then beat and threatened him at his home.

The injured were taken to a government hospital in Puttur. Sources say a case has been registered at the Puttur town police station.
