Violence not stopping in Manipur, several rounds of firing in Thangjing; Security forces present on the spot.
The fire of violence in Manipur is not extinguished. There are reports of continuous firing. Intermittent firing was also reported from two places in Manipur late on Tuesday night.

Several rounds of firing took place late at night.
Around 15-20 rounds of firing from automatic weapons were heard at Thangjing in Manipur East at 11.45 pm on Tuesday night, officials said.
The sporadic firing was also reported from Geljang and Singda, he said. Both these areas come under the Kangchup region.
A Manipur official said.
Between 8 pm and 9.30 pm, 4-5 rounds of firing were done from the Geljan and Singda areas. Both these firings were done from different places. The distance between the two places is 2 km.
Security forces are present on the spot.
Here, after receiving information about the firing, the security forces became active in the area. Assam Rifles personnel are trying to ascertain whether there has been any casualty at both places.
