US Will Take Decisive Action If Russia Attacks Ukraine: Biden

US will take decisive action if Russia attacks Ukraine: Biden.

US President Joe Biden spoke to the Ukrainian leader on Sunday about increasing the deployment of Russian military forces along the border with Ukraine.

During this, he promised that the US and its allies would take decisive action if Russia attacked Ukraine.

Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke on the phone at a time when the US and its Western allies are planning diplomatic meetings to defuse tensions.

On the other hand, Russia has said that this crisis could completely destroy its relationship with America.

After talks between the leaders of the United States and Ukraine, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement that Biden outlined his principle that “no action will be taken without you.”

This means that the US will seek the advice of its allies before discussing any policy affecting Europe.

Biden said that if Russia attacks Ukraine, economic sanctions will be imposed on it. However, he said last month that military action has not been considered for the time being.

After the talks, Zelensky tweeted, “To maintain peace in Europe, prevent escalating tensions and change, among other issues were discussed.” America’s unwavering support is commendable.

The United Nations, on the other hand, has had modest success in persuading the Russian president to ease the pressure.

Senior officials of the US and Russia are going to meet in Geneva on January 9 and 10 to discuss the situation.

This will be followed by meetings of the NATO-Russia Council and the European Organization for Security Cooperation.

It is noteworthy that Biden spoke to Russian President Putin for about an hour on Thursday.

Biden told reporters the next day that he had warned Putin that his country would face serious economic troubles if it attacked Ukraine.

It is said that Russia has stationed one lakh soldiers on the border with Ukraine.

The committee preparing to make a public report on Capitol Hill violence soon, Trump’s problem may increase

The committee formed to investigate the violence on Capitol Hill (Parliament Building) on January 6 last year in the US is preparing to make its report public.

The committee has interviewed more than 300 witnesses, collected thousands of documents, and traveled across the country to speak to election officials who were under pressure from Donald Trump.

Now after six months of hard work, the House committee probing the incident is preparing to make the report public.

In the coming months, members of the panel will begin releasing their reports against the former president and his aides.
