UP RS Election 2020: Ten candidates from Uttar Pradesh elected unopposed even after uproar.

Ten of the 11 members who have filed the form have been elected unopposed despite considerable chaos over the RS elections in Uttar Pradesh.

Eight out of ten belong to the Bharatiya Janata Party, while one member each belongs to the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party.

With the election of eight BJP candidates, the party’s strength in the Upper House will also increase. Ramji Gautam from Bahujan Samaj Party and Professor Ram Gopal Yadav from Samajwadi Party have also reached RS.

Among them, BJP’s Brijlal, Haridwar Dubey, Geeta Shakya, Seema Dwivedi, and BL Verma have reached the House for the first time.

The party has again given Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, BJP National General Ministers Arun Singh and Neeraj Shekhar.

Definitely elected today. The MPs will prove helpful in fulfilling the pledge of “Antyodaya to Rashtrodaya” of the respected Prime Minister.

All 10 candidates were elected unopposed on Monday after nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections in ten seats of Uttar Pradesh. Voting was not required for the election as only ten nomination papers were found valid.

The certificates of Union Minister Hardeep Puri, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, and Arun Singh’s certificate reached the Central Hall of the Legislative Assembly to take JPS Rathore.

At the same time, General Secretary Satish Mishra and Legislature Dalneta Lalji Verma were present with BSP’s Ramji Gautam. SP’s Ram Gopal Yadav’s certificate was received by Arvind Singh.

Among the winning candidates, there are eight candidates each of BJP, SP and BSP.

The party’s national general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav from the Samajwadi Party and Ramji Gautam from the BSP have been declared the winners.

Ramji Gautam has reached the Upper House for the first time, while Professor Ram Gopal Yadav is in his third consecutive session.

In the Rajya Sabha elections held in ten seats of the state, all the ten candidates may have been elected unopposed, but there was a big upset in the politics of the state.

The BJP-led decision not to field an additional ninth candidate had created a clash between the SP-BSP.

Seven MLAs of the Bahujan Samaj Party revolted with the nomination of an independent candidate by the SP to block the path of BSP candidate Ramji Gautam.

But the voting situation could not be made due to the cancellation of the nomination papers of the nominee Prakash Bajaj.

Now 22 Rajya Sabha members of BJP from Uttar Pradesh

After the unopposed election for ten seats in the biennial election of Rajya Sabha, the number of BJP members from the state will increase while the number of other opposition parties will decrease.

The total number of Rajya Sabha members from the state is 31. In this, BJP members will increase from 17 to 22.

At the same time, Samajwadi Party members will now be five instead of eight. Similarly, three BSP members and one Congress member will remain in the House.
