 United Kisan Morcha wrote to PM Modi, know about the latest ‘threat’: Kisan Andolan.

Protests have been going on at the Delhi-NCR border since November 28 in protest against the three Central Agricultural Laws, but closed talks with the central government have increased their tension.

Meanwhile, in a letter written by the United Kisan Morcha to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is said that as the head of the world’s largest democracy, it is up to you to resume the dialogue.

If the central government talks and resolves the problems of the farmers, then they will go to their homes.

The letter also said that if the government did not get a positive response by 25 May, celebrating National Protest Day on the completion of six months of dharna on 26 May would intensify the conflict in the next phase.

Along with this, the Front has demanded the government to take effective steps to prevent the spread of infection in the villages.

Talks had been held about 12 times so far.

Farmers’ organizations in Punjab and Haryana have been staging a sit-in at Kundli, Tikri Border in Haryana, and Ghazipur Border in Uttar Pradesh for about six months.

They are demanding the withdrawal of three new agrarian reform laws and a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP).

The dharna started on 26 November 2020.

Twelve rounds of talks have been held between the central government and the farmers’ organizations till now, amidst the ongoing agitation – demonstrations, but never made.

At the same time, the conversation between the central government and the farmers ended up unfulfilled every time.

On one hand, the farmers are adamant about the demand for repeal of the law, while the central government has been asking the farmers for information about the objection points every time.

The Supreme Court had formed a committee.

In order to end the dispute between the central government and the farmers about the new agrarian reform laws, the Supreme Court formed a four-member committee, prohibiting the implementation of the law.

After Bhupinder Singh Mann of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Mann) withdrew from the committee, there were only three members left in it.

The committee submitted its confidential report after understanding the entire controversy and assessing the loss of profit of the law.
