Subramanian Swamy: Delhi Be Re-Named As Indraprastha

Subramanian Swamy: Delhi Be Re-Named As Indraprastha. Subramanian Swamy’s demand, Indraprastha be Delhi’s name, is necessary for Hindu renaissance to be renamed as Rajdhani.

BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Dr. Subramanian Swamy has demanded renaming the national capital Delhi as Indraprastha.

Swamy wrote in the tweet, ‘For the Hindu renaissance, it is necessary to name Delhi as Indraprastha. Draupadi Trust did enough study.

In this regard, Draupadi Trust’s Dr. Neera Mishra has done enough studies. A great saint of Tamil Nadu had told me that unless we change the name of the capital from Delhi to Indraprastha, the country will remain in turmoil.

Evidence of Indraprastha is found in the revenue records of British and Mughal rule.

Actually, the founder and president of Draupadi Trust, Dr. Neera Mishra has discovered many such pieces of evidence which give the evidence of the name of the present Delhi to be Indraprastha.

She says that this is mentioned in the Mahabharata, in the notification of the British Government in 1911, evidence of this is also found. He told that for this she has been studying for 18 years.

Along with the record of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), it is mentioned in the revenue and other records of British and Mughal rule as Indraprastha.

In 1911, in the notification of the British Government, the area connected with Indraprastha Fort was declared as Indraprastha Protected Area.

Subramanian Swamy’s demand: Despite this, efforts are being made to erase the name Indraprastha.

In the 1911 notification of the British Government, there is evidence of declaring the area associated with the then Indraprastha Fort as a protected area under the name Indraprastha.

In view of this, the government should have no problem changing its name from Delhi to Indraprastha.
