Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Spoke On Vasundhara

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat spoke on Vasundhara Raje Scindia, sometimes silence resonates more than words.

Rajasthan Political Crisis: Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat says that the ‘silence’ of former state Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia may be a ‘strategy’ regarding the political developments in the state of Rajasthan.

In an interview with leading media agency, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat hit back at Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, alleging that the Congress leader himself created a political ‘drama’ in the state of Rajasthan by targeting his opponents inside and outside the party.

Shekhawat (Gajendra Singh) said that the Bhartiya Janta Party has nothing to do with the political developments in Rajasthan and this is an internal battle of the Congress which includes the Chief Minister and his former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, ‘This drama is going on in the state because he (Ashok Gehlot) wants to show Sachin Pilot and others out of the party. They are blaming the BJP(Bhartiya Janta Party) for this whole crisis and trying to tarnish the image of its leadership.

Asked about Vasundhara’s silence on the ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan, Shekhawat said, ‘Vasundhara Raje Scindia’s silence can be a strategy and sometimes silence resonates more than words.’ However, he refused to explain it.

Vasundhara Raje Scindia has been the chief minister of the state twice. In this whole incident, Vasundhara Raje Scindia tweeted something and said that some people are creating confusion about the political developments in the state. Vasundhara Raje Scindia stressed that she stands with the party and its ideology.

Vasundhara Raje Scindia’s reaction came when Hanuman Beniwal, MP from Nagaur and Convenor of the National Democratic Party, accused her of ‘inner connivance’ with Gehlot. Beniwal has been a very critical critic of Vasundhara Raje Scindia.
