Amit Shah was admitted to the post-COVID Care Ward of AIIMS. Some time ago Shah became infected with Corona. After this, he was admitted to Mendata Hospital in Gurugram. After this, he got to rest. Only after Corona was cured, he was again admitted to the hospital due to some other problems.

After this, he was complaining of difficulty in breathing and pain in the body due to which he was admitted for treatment in the post COVID care ward of AIIMS. However, according to the doctor’s report, he is much better than before. Shah’s health has improved significantly. He is being treated by a team of doctors led by the institute’s director, Dr. Randeep Guleria.

Meanwhile, more than 75 thousand cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported for the third consecutive day in India. According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, 76 thousand 472 cases of the corona were reported and 1,021 people died. During this period, 65,050 patients were cured and nine lakh 28 thousand 761 sample tests were done.

According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 34 lakh 63 thousand 973 cases have been reported in the country so far and 62 thousand 550 people have died. There are seven lakh 52 thousand 424 active cases in the country. 26 lakh 48 thousand 999 patients have been cured. The recovery rate is 76.47 percent and the death rate is 1.81 percent. So far, four crore four lakh six thousand 609 sample tests have been done. On August 7, the total number of cases had crossed 10 lakh. On August 23, this figure crossed 30 lakhs.
